Well promised my wee sis a phone for her christmas, not anything fancy.

But under 50, shes only 13 so just for posing and texting her friends really.

She already has an ipod so big need for mp3 player etc, any recommendations?

O she already has a 02 sim, that gives her the 300free texts a months.

Take a trip to Asda and have a look there, you can pick mobiles up for as little as £20. We got our son a nokia for £20. If you want to use the O2 card she already has then you will have to get a phone on O2 or get it unlocked if it isn't.
 
Yeah just look around loasd of phones for under £50 but there aren't any defining ones. Ask her to choose the one she likes? There all much of a muchness in features... (Basic)
 
Similiar situation for my niece the samsung c300 in pink looks a decent phone shame everything pay as go on 02 is way more expensive and very limted range the c300 is so perfect but there's no 02 one.

Can it not be unlocked if you get it on another network?
 
I think all phones on the vodafon pay as you go network are unlocked? Pop into Fones4u? I got a cheap voda there a while back as a stopgap and it was unlocked.
 
just got the samsung vodafone c300 it's locked ! i'll have to go get it unlocked so it works on 02 grrr
 
@ OP , i personally thing the best fone you can get for 50 or more or less is the LG Chocolate which i think you can get in either black or pink and is quite stylish and easy to use from what ive heard. take a look at your nearest carphonewarehouse or the website for details.
