US shoppers killed in gun rampage

The way I see it, is that there is nothing special about what he did that he couldnt have done with some pipe bombs or homemade explosives. The columbine shooters had a vast assortment of explosives as well as the guns. Explosives are not difficult to make because recipes can be found online with a bit of searching and most household chemicals will work.

I am pretty sure the gun wasnt his, as he was only 18 years old, so he had to have stolen it or purchased illegally. (yes, taking it from your dad without permission is stealing). Having said that, gun control would not have stopped this shooting. Who ever owned the gun could have been an upstanding member of society, who happened to have his gun stolen by some crazy kid.

I refuse to give up my right to own a firearm just because a few bad apples kill people with them.

No I'm not paranoid but if I knew anyone could be packing a weapon I certainly would feel very uneasy and scared when heated situations occur in public!!

It's selfish to blame the deaths on the college when there is plenty of blood on his and the pro gun lobbys hands!!

Not really bothered tbh as Michael Moore showed Mr Heston for what he is in 'Bowling for Columbine (2002)', ie a cold blooded selfish human with absolutely no heart or feelings for others :mad:
 
Don't blame guns or sensible owners, blame the pschyo's. The blood isn't on pro gun NRA.

It's like blaming all Muslims because of 12 people on 9/11. oh wait...

Anyone body can make anyone look like anything with crafty editing of films. Moore is a loser who twists things to fit his theory.ow?

You're basing this probability on your own fear, and not evidence. Now since this latest shooter was depressed, it would not surprise me if he was on SSRIs, just like the Columbine shooters were.

Hawkins has a history of crime, was dumped by his girlfriend 2 weeks before this shooting, and was fired from his job over missing money. Clearly he would be upset...

It'd have been a much better film if Charlton Heston had come out and shouted "Oi, get of my property you ignorant lard ass" and then put a .45 through Moore's face.

Actually military rounds are limited by conventions in their killing ability, ie not being allowed to use dum dum shells, although the British empire quickly solved that by making a .303 round with an aluminium tip, that tumbled like a buzz saw through the body doing much more damage. Millitery rounds must not expand significantly or break up on impact with the human body as this is cruel. :rolleyes:

Was also used later in the Ar10.

Her solution will probably be to go out and a hug a tree whilst gently rubbing a kitten against your face. You can't possibly fire a gun whilst doing both those activities.

All this causes is that your mugger shoots/stabs/batters you from behind without saying anything instead of threataning you.
 
If you ban guns I'm sure the people who do this king of thing won't care that it's illegal..... If someone wants to commit a massacre gun control won't help.

makes it harder for some kid in the mist of "teen angst" / emo nut just getting one and generally limits them more to the gang warfare scene
