I am looking for a new guitar, I've tryed all the ibanez's and fenders and gibsons, and everything, and there all very boring, and nothing special.

I am fairly experienced and have been playing since I was 6, but i want something different that will stand out, without being in your face, ie not a BC Rich.

I was looking at the headless steinburgers, does anybody know what there like to play and things??

I was looking at this one...

I hate those style guitars.. sorry I do.

Gibsons and Fenders boring? what type of music do you play by the way.

lots of different styles, mainly blues/rock, but also funk, acoustic, country, everything really.

but mainly blues/rock/shredding/metal kinda thing.

I've owned strats, teles, lps, sgs find them all boring.

I did used to like wolfgangs before they were discontinued.

The Steinberg headless guitars are Insanely easy to play, and have so many different things built on to make it easier.

If I didn't mind having a guitar that looked totally crap I'd buy one straight away.

I like the look of the "broomstick" model, I like things to look functional and utilitarian :)

Says the guy who likes Steinberger guitars :p Thought you said you liked the Wolfgangs anyway?

I'm not sure what you want to be honest, you seem to have tried a good range of guitars already..

all the musicman guitars just look like rip offs of other guitars that came before.

I wouldnt mind trying a PRS, but then I'm not sure I can afford one and they look pretty boring anyway.

What's your budget anyway? Have you looked at PRS?

Edit:

OK.

I recently got a Suhr (see signature), it definately 'turns heads' and is literally the best guitar i've ever played. But if you say you're not sure you can afford a PRS then they're prolly off the list.

Have you looked at Godin? Please don't say they look boring or else I might have a hemorrage :p

to me although quite smart looking its just a superstrat with a quilted top. IE boring. No ofence its very nice, I just want something different, but without looking gothic like a BC Rich/Jackson.

I have looked at PRS, never owned one or played one tbh.

and budget is £500-£1000, maybe a little bit more. But I'd rather stay under £1000.

I currently use a Strat, an Ibanez JS sig guitar, which has a lovely body shape, and a taylor acoustic, and all of them are fairly boring, so i want something different.

Nitefly on here has a Parker Nitefly (suprise) so maybe shoot him off an email.

I've never played one myself but they look more up your street.

No experience with the Steinbergers, I definately wouldn't like to attempt to play one sat down though.

They're easier than playing a Flying V sitting down :p

I've not played an actual steinberger but I've played a guitar that shape.

Parker guitars play like dreams WHEN they're setup perfectly.

I've just remembered the Burns London Scorpion, i liked the look of that, but not the finish, do burns do a kinda more "posh" range of guitars aswell?

I don't understand how they'd be easier to play than a Flying V, which admitedly are very difficult, but at least you can sit your right leg in the middle of the V so to speak, and come with a very steep neck angle.

Edit: lol the Parker looks cheap, that Steinberger has some kind of playschool safety leg rest thing :D It's like a small extendable camping seat go-go gadget guitar.
