Ok, just before I buy it i hav a few questions

I got an insurance quote (crowthorne) for £1545. Cheapest quote for any car ive found yet for me anyways.. Is that a good deal (considering im 17)? Also, what should I say to him to try and bring the price down without sounding rude lol

Also, whats a reasonable price for a 1.25 fiesta. Ive found them for around £800+ (cant afford the ghia)

Im thinking of lowering it a bit just to make it look better, whats the best place to do that and how much would it be.

Finally is anything under 90k mileage acceptable?

Cheers

Try adding your parents to the policy, as named drivers, should help being it down a bit.

Sounds about right, depends on year/milage.

Don't bother. If you can find a set of Ghia alloys for a good price, chuck them on there. Bar that, save your money.

'Acceptable' is a relative term really. My car's on 188k, I'm happy with it :)

Depends on entirely how its been looked after, if its been thrashed - then it could be a wreck by 50k, but well looked after cars can go on forever. Entirley depends on the situation

I got a wee 1.25 for 700 with 40k miles on it. After further investigation the engine was buggerd though.

Great wee cars, had a set of larger tyres on the back and the handbrake turns you could pull was just awsome :D

You could also lie and say that you've found the policy cheaper elsewhere but you want to go with this company because *insert reason here*

I didn't get much knocked off mine, but it's worth a try.
