Blackburn v West Ham, 16:00 Sky Sports 1
Bolton v Wigan, 15:00
Middlesbrough v Arsenal, 13:30 Setanta Sports 1
Tottenham v Man City, 15:00

Some good games on Setanta this weekend, glad I took up the 2month offer last week.

Don't know what to expect from Derby, could take a beating or come out and make it difficult for us. I'd go with the following team:

VdS
Brown - Vidic - Ferdinand - Evra
Ronaldo - Anderson - Carrick - Giggs
Tevez - Rooney

Maybe give Nani a run out, but in fairness he may as well play on Wednesday. Hopefully no need for Hargreaves, so keep him fit for next Sunday :)

We (Arsenal) need to win in order to maintain a gap before the weekend of amazingness that is next week (Arsenal V Chelsea, and Liverpool V Manu). I don't know if we can do it though, our team just looked weird and knackered against Newcastle and we don't appear to have either of the four players missing that night back for this Sunday.

Quite annoying really as I consider that Derby are going to Old Trafford and pull their shorts down while bending over.

not saying we won't i just have this bad feeling. i'll probably cry like a little girl and sulk for the rest of the day if we don't beat them.

villa v pompey looks like a particularly interesting game. two of the quickest and most powerful teams in the league, both playing excellent football. should be a decent game. saying that the 12.45 curse might render it a bore!

Actually, on paper Newcastle do have a good side. They were better with Morrison, selling him was definitely a mistake, but people underestimate the talent in that side. They need a more experienced manager, but someone like Jol would get the best out of them.

Gibson is too patient for his own good, he should have had McLeish in the second it was clear he was going to be available.

Players like Woodgate, Pogatetz, Huth, Arca, Downing, Mido, Young and Tuncay are all more than capable of playing at a very high level in the Premiership, then you consider the excellent talents that are Adam Johnson, Andrew Taylor and David Wheater and you have some very good young players too (I would also say McMahon, but he's had a nightmare with injuries).

They also have a player in Gary O'Neil who has been given a freash lease of life at Middlesbrough and has been very good whenever he has played.

The problems Middlesbrough have are that Boateng is utter garbage and well past it, Schwarzer has at last been called out by fans (he's been crap for a decade, but it took this long for them to see it) and Aliadiere just isn't a Premiership striker. On top of that Dong Gook Lee is, for me, the worst player in the Premiership.

But to say Middlesbrough don't have a decent squad is wrong, they do. They just have a manager who isn't ready yet.

Typo? :p

They are better than what they are playing granted but the team as a whole is in freefall and their options up front are terrible. I just can't see them being a threat. Plus they have one of the ugliest managers in the game, think he gives Dowie a good run for his money :D.

Can't see Reading getting anything against us the way we're playing recently - Gerrard especially.

Watch me eat my words....

Yea we and like you say Gerrard in particular are playing really well at the moment (can't understand how Rafa and Stevie haven't won the manager and player of the month award tbh). It will be interesting to see if Carra plays, Rafa says he's fit but im not convinced we'll risk him especially as he's a booking away from missing the Utd game next weekend.

Agger, Alonso and Aurelio aren't far away from a comeback either, if Carra weren't to play hopefully Agger will be ready but midweek is a more realistic game for him.

Well Cesc, Flamini, Diaby, Hleb and RvP are all definate non starters. I really hope they are back for next weekend.

It'll be interesting to see if Brown plays today following all the contract hoo-ha. Fergie might think its time to start seriously considering Simpson following Neville's latest injury.
