Ive played Battlefield 2 and CSS and although I enjoy them for short periods, they seem to be light on tactics.

Basically, run, jump, shoot - repeat :(

Am looking for a more tactical experience which involves more thinking than just shooting.

arg hes a bunny hopper lol.

Rb6 vegas is good, never played swat 4. Armed assault is good but the lack of team work in that game sometimes really annoys me as it makes it very hard when the other team work together and yours dont.

Have you ever played proper matches? Its definitely not just run, jump and shoot. Quite a bit of tactics and skill are needed if your team is to win.

Indeed, all of the old schoolers on, I just started playing it again this past week. Probably around 300-400 players past 6pm so plenty of games to be had.
 
Tactical Shooter - isn't America's Army still about, I've not played it for a few years but when I did it was one heck of a tactical game, one false move and that was it, bye bye, best of all it was FREE as well :D

Is that with or without the expansion? How many patchs are there?

edit: Just seen it on the ubisoft digital download store for $9, says its version 1.60, whats that? Will it work if its probably the american version?

clan matches in cod4, or really any cod. Public servers are nade spamming and spraying, but a proper clan match is awesome tactically.
