What if prices drop further after the gts comes out?, you could get a cheaper BFG oc or evga card. Im sure they will be going up a lot on the this week only.
:EDIT:
Removed rant as it will only get removed by a don anyway. Might as well save them the time as its not their fault every time i order i only seem to inconvenience my self, which kinda defeates the object of saturday delivery.
HI there
It won't come down hardly any more.
The new buy price on the bigger brand names is still a lot higher than what were selling this model for. New GTX price is officially around the £250+VAT mark to the customer, even if our competitors sell at cost they will still be over £220+VAT.
OcUK has sourced these cards at an incredible price but for the supplier who sold them too us has made a whopping loss by selling them so cheaply to us, but a lot of suppliers are more interested in revenue over actual margin which is kinda of bonkers but I am not complaining and I am sure you lot aint complaining now that you can get a GTX so cheap.

The NVIDIA official lineup on pricing is:-
8600 GTS 256MB @ £89+VAT
8800 GT 256MB @ £109+VAT
8800 GT 512MB @ £139+VAT (Once stock frees up)
8800 GTS @ NDA (But quite a bit higher than GT)
8800 GTX 768MB @ £249+VAT
8800 Ultra 768MB @ £349+VAT
Thats NVIDIA's current lineup for the next 2-3 months, there new high-end model will no doubt fit in around between GTX and Ultra pricing but due to supply and demand will no doubt be as high as the Ultra to begin with.
So anyone thinking the GTX is going to get substancially cheaper than were selling it for now is deeply mistaken as it simply won't.
NVIDIA still position it higher performance wise than the GTS and as such it has a higher RRP. NVIDIA in their own testing show GTX and Ultra still pull ahead by quite some margin at resolutions of 1920x1200 and higher or when AA/AF is in use due to the extra bandwidth and larger amount of memory available.
