I put together this spec earlier, would anyone be able to check it, or even get a better spec for the money.

Should make for a great system if you can stretch to it, if you can't swap it for a 512mb X1950 and the Asus motherboard you had originally.

Can't fault Will's specification there, if the budget is important you could consider the Antec Sonata III with the included Earthwatts 500w PSU as that would save you around £10 over buying separately. :)

Yeh, get the E2180 and clock that sucka!

Great chip for gaming (at 3200), nothing fazes it, most (if not all) of my current new games are now GPU bound.

The 256mb version might be sufficient but it will rather depend how big your monitor is I suppose and what detail levels you like. There is an OcUK version on pre-order that is cheaper and 512mb but I don't know when it will come into stock. Other than that the specification looks good. :)

Would the 256mb version of the GPU be sufficient enough? :)

I spent an extra £17 and bagged myself an 8800GT 512Mb as in sig. And that includes postage!

At that price for the 3850 Pro, personally wouldn't consider that card over the 8800GT.

It will depend on the chip itself but 3ghz is a fairly realistic target to begin wth based on the parts you have there. You may be able to get higher but it is by no means certain. :)

OK, thanks.

Edit - Is there anyway I can find out if these components will fit my old case that I have atm? Its a Tsunami case btw.

Your case is ordinary ATX which means everything should fit fine, however you may need to remove the bottom hard drive cage to fit the graphics card if it is similar in size to an 8800series card. :)
