Well I have just finished crysis and I must say I'm not impressed gameplay is ok graphics are temperamental and game length well I finished it in a week wots goin on is there gonna be a second chapter to come (soon I hope) .
It could have been s so awesome .:(

Nodought they wouldnt and normally im farely aware that you shouldnt listen to the hype but after seeing trailer, reviews and the demo I was expecting jaw dropping graphics game play that can only be rivaled by the real thing .
But hey thats life I guess lets hope they do better next time .;)

Really don't understand why people think it doesn't have jaw dropping graphics. Its miles ahead of anything else.

I dunno bioshock was Farley long and Halo 1 was great but ive heard gears of war and halo 3 are so short if you blink you will miss it ,guess its just a way of making money I was just hoping it would be the game to show that pc,s can kick consoles asses .

EDIT: POSSIBLE SPOLERS FOR CRYSIS AND HALF LIFE 2: EPISODE 2

I still think its way better than most 90+ games out there.

Take Episode2; linear, short, nothing new (except the hunters and the strider ball) and everyone loves it. Crysis is longer, better graphics, lots of new gameplay things (nano suit, customizable weapons, lots of vehicles, freedom etc)

Both games end on a cliffhanger ( I don’t get why people hated the crysis ending, it was all over and they went back to the island) in hl2 you see Eili die and that’s it.

Still everyone praises hl2 and they diss crysis.

Also anyone who says the Crysis graphics aren't nice is just being stupid. The one thing everyone should agree on is that the engine is superior to anything out at the moment.

Nice one, just spoilt the end of HL2 Ep2 and gave away crysis ending to me too :(

Well, people will try and be different wont they?

Well, not many of us can afford the kind of cards to get good image quality from the Crysis engine...whereas something like Company of Heroes is far more scalable - anything from a Geforce 3 upwards can play the game, and once you get to Radeon 9800\Geforce 6800 level, you can get decent IQ.

Im running an evga 8800 ultra and I still cant run full spec and don't get me wrong its a great game and I enjoyed playing it and all the features where very cool but there wasn't enough of it , for example flying the personnel carrier there was only a short mission with that then the tanks that mission was very short also the advanced weaponry was very brief.
I just would have liked A bit more of every thing I think maybe they tried so hard to make a fantastic looking game they sacrificed the length and in the end the graphics has backfired as nothing can run it on full without issues and bugs ,
maybe this will change when the next gen cards are out but that means forking out £400-500 .
This is all just my opinion and if your pleased with the game then fare play maybe its just me .;)

crysis wasn't the longest game but it was a breath of fresh air to be honest, can you name a game that has great control setup (crysis has that in spades), interesting story, very interactive enviroment and all the eye candy, with a decent length game with what IMO is a good ending, i like cliffhangers, everyone else complains but halo 2 for example had good ending, made you want the third one!
