Premium and HDMI Cable

Hey all,

I got my Xbox 360 Premium in March this year.
I'm hearing around the forums that Premiums don't come with HDMI cables...

I thought all this time that I had HD gaming... Have Premiums ALWAYS come without HDMI cables? Is there a way to check whether or not im viewing my XBOX in HD?

They don't come with HDMI cables, and if you bought it in March it won't even have a HDMI port.

The connections supplied with the Premium are component.

Check the display settings to see if you're running HD, should say 720p.

Is there a difference in using component and HDMI? I think im using component...
 
Component should be fine.

As a general rule for HD connections it's HDMI > VGA > Component, although it can differ between different model tv's.

You're just confusing terminology. Using the component cable with the switch to HDTV, you will be running in high definition.
