can a/some east yorkshire people clear this up?

Supposedly on the way to bridlington, somewhere near Driffield there is a large propellor near a church. Numerous searches have thrown up nothing and I think my girlfriend is going crazy as a few months ago we went to Bridlington and I saw zero propellor.

I'm sure there's a large propeller from a plane that crashed nearby in WWII but can't remember exactly where.

A propellor from a plane or something? Can you be more specific as to the location?
