Hi guys, its my bday tomorrow and feel like treatin myself to a new 360 game for some fun so what do u recommend? iv got cod4 and gh3 and i dont like sports games so throw us some ideas... thanks.

Pass on PGR4 and buy Burnout in January

Halo 3, Bioshock, Gears of War and Mass Effect, you wouldn't be disappointed with any of them.

These posts appear all the time, just look at gamerankings or metacritic and have a look at some gaming websites then see what you like most.

sorry ive already finished halo 3 and gears and didnt really get into bioshock. Lookin at 2 obvious ones- assassins creed and mass effect, any opinions anyone?

Assassins Creed might be worth a look it's one of those games you either love or hate though it seems

Crackdown == brill game and even better in co-op

you can get it very cheap this days :cool:

Going by reviews out of the two then Mass Effect is a winner. Assassin's Creed looks amazing and i haven't played it myself, but its got a few mixed reviews here and there.

yeah it seemed to have the hype but after the actual release i heard a lot of negatives so im not so sure whereas mass effect seems to be one of those rare titles that lives up to the hype

Crikey, a small search on the forums would turn up wonders. There are loads of good games, but we also can't recommend one without you first telling us what you already have.

I'll recommend "The Darkness" as a game you should buy. It's only £20 brand new, so you can't go wrong.

Get gears then if those are the only ones you've got, might as well
