Gran Turismo 5 Prologue

I know not to debate with you, only thing I will say is you hyped FM2 so I hope you have learned not to be taken in by glossy screens and PR before the game is out this time round ;)

I will wait to see how it plays, if its good enough to play then it will probably make me get the PS3, especially if it turns out Sony still has the F1 deal too.

Still i cant have you swaning around telling us all about the game particulary with the impatience killing me.

Not sure if i should thank you or dislike you by putting me in this position, lol.

FM2 is a game many of my friends love, i felt let down by its poor AI races, GT5 seems to offer no better AI. Though ive never got into the online aspect of it which many still enjoy. If anything i spent much more time in its paint editor, which has its own bugs with decals moving that also put me off. I created and sold several of probably the most accurate to appear on the FM2 Market Porsche Rothmans 959. Still i got a lot of pleasure from the game doing this and time trials.

Id rather get excited about games and have hope that i will enjoy them.
Its entertainment to me no different to going to the cinema, buying a movie or anything else.

As for buying a PS3 for GT5 prologue, i can tell you now its not worth it.
As a multifunction media player,console,Blu Ray player it certainly is.

Where have you got the tickets from? If mine works I am sure my mate will sort me out one or 2 more at cost price. I am telling him to do it as a small enterprise really, and just charge a tiny amount extra so people can get other content like ps1 games off Japan store. e-mail me. It may even be shareable so we could try that too!

For me it is purely an impatience thing, I am not as big a fan of racing games as you by any means but have loved all the GT games.

I would be interested in this too RP if your friend wanted to add something on top for his trouble.
 
I dont think this is the place to discuss it...

Also if any problems come up with incompatibility etc then its not fair on rp2000. Keep your reputation mate, look after yourself as their ARE online auctions for such things if people want them badly enough.

cool, for me the disc version will be hassle to sell, and I kind of like having games on my hard disk, as every now and then I go back to them after ages and think hmmm thats nice.

I will keep you updated, I have sent a message to your xbox live if u want the disc based one. I am tempted by it, but this close to xmas, unless you pay extra for delivery I can see it maybe not getting here in a timely fashion.

I never found these auctions!!!! slighty over inflated price considering the man just went to the ATM, but I guess we all got to get our monies somehow.

Probably best details of this is discussed in private over email.
Bans are likely if it becomes some sort of trading ground.

Fair play to anyone that wants to try an make a few quid at it, personally i wouldnt want the hassle or be involved if problems arise.

Cant tell you all what to do but regards the thread/forums discussing it here isnt going to go down to well.

Japan is 9 hours ahead aint they?

PSN prob wont get updated till say at least 12pm mid-day - 5pm that day
Thats our 3am-9am time frame in the morning.

Famitsu just reviewed GT5 prologue no review post yet just the scores, and they aint to bad for a demo;)

Famitsu - the Japanese Magazine that eclipses the rest, the one we’re all waiting to hear from. They have now reviewed Gran Turismo 5 Prologue for the Playstation 3, and it wouldn’t be inaccurate to say that it eclipses all other racing games around it.

Famitsu scored Forza 2 36/40 and PGR4 33/40 - both extremely respectable scores. They hav, however, scored GT5 Prologue 39/40 - that is 10, 10, 9 and 10.

That is some pretty glowing scores right there, for a game that is practically only a taster of the full Gran Turismo 5. I expect they’re holding back that fourth perfect score for the arrival of Polyphony Digital’s full flung beast.

An incredible looking game running at 1080p 60fps, with the best car models you have ever seen and with an updated physics model to make it the most realistic driving simulator ever. Polyphony Digital are Gods.

Well that is if the scores are correct seems a bit early for the famitsu reviews to be out, so the 39/40 could be wrong but i guess we'll know by thursday for sure.

Every incarnation of GT spouts improved physics, improved AI but really both are not that challenging.
Im expecting more of the same tbh with fancy visuals but looking forward to finally online multiplayer in GT.

The game im sure will have plenty to criticise.

Look forward also to a week of racing some of you guys in im sure what will appear "GT5 time trial" thread
