The new print issue of Electronic Gaming Monthly magazine has an article on the recent news of BioWare and Pandemic being purchased by Electronic Arts. The article points out that because of the purchase, EA will now own Mass Effect, the recently released sci-fi RPG from developer BioWare that Microsoft published for the Xbox 360. However, according to an unnamed source cited in the article, an agreement has been made for Mass Effect 2 and 3 to both be published by Microsoft as well, with BioWare and EA to be listed as developers rather than publishers.

At least this confirms that the Mass Effect trilogy concept will remain as was with Xbox Live! updates between so great news.
 
Well, I can't imagine that they wouldn't release an updated version on the PC.

Look at what's happened in the past, the real good system seller games come out on the XBOX, the Halos and GOWs. Microsoft know this will shift consoles, as well as make money on the games.

So, they wait until they've shifted just about every extra console they think they can, before releasing on PC. It's a good business tactic.
One could argue that they spend the time bettering the game for the PC, and in some cases I'm sure that's true, GOW is the latest.. however, the Halo games, from the original XBOX weren't improved at all (or barely, mouse support added and higher res)

I expect that when sales of Mass Effect slow down, then A PC version will be announced... as it was last year ;)

I have an Xbox 360 and theres nothing wrong with it. Its fast, powerful and better than a PC if youv’e got any friends in the house. This site must be full of idiots because they all dont realise that Bill Gates made DX10, Bill Gates made Windows, the only PC gaming OS. Period. You can say all you want about not buying a 360 because its rubbish, but wether you do or dont, ill bet Mass Effect will be for Vista only or DX10 only, which means, whether you like it or not, your giving �100
to Bill for slow, RAM eating, Wreck-all-you’re-classic-games-slow-down youre-new-ones-Vista or youre getting it for 360.

And if were lucky, and its for XP, thats a Bill gates OS too…

Please note, this isn't me bashing the XBOX360, just me in total awe of that fact, that it seems Bill Gates single handedly built the XBOX360 and wrote Windows, and DX10, though apparently he didn't do so well with this slow, RAM eating, Wreck-all-you're (his grammer, not mine) classic-games-slow-down-youre(also his grammer)new ones-Vista.
