I think I just beat everyone.

A dozen roast potatoes
Two big scoops of mash
Six slices of roast pork
Big Yorkshire pud
Stuffing
Apple sauce
Loads of onion gravy

And for pud:

Big chunk of spotted dick
Loads of custard.

£3 for about a kilo of food. Took a pic on phone. Will upload at earliest opportunity...

And I could have had loads of veg too for the same amount. Billy bargain tbh.

So what do you get for your half sheckel at your place?

Shag all really. Worst canteen ever, for a company our size it's shocking.

We have the choice of Jacket, rancid pastys, pies and sausage rolls and Hot Pots (that are quite nice). That's it.

It's all pretty cheap though.

Roast Sirloin of Beef served (this was a joint hand carved - 4 slices about a cm thick each!) with curley fries, glazed parsnips, horseradish sauce - veg.

Mango Cheesecake - £3.80

When I was at ******, the canteen consisted of a small room, two tables and about 8-10 chairs around it. At the end of the room was a kitchen sink, a few kitchen cupboards, and a 14" combi TV which was only used for training.
Sounds like a carbon copy of what its like where i work

Fireskull, your sigs filesize is too large

At my work you can get a plate of whatever for £1.25. Last week I had lasagne, chips, brocolli, baked beans with grated cheese to top it off.

Coffee and tea is free out of a Kenco machine.

£3 gets us a 'special' which consists of a small plate of chewy thin chips and some fish/curry/lasange

For that reason i always bring my own food. Usually tuna, pasta or tuna potatoes
