Cant find my first post here, so ill re post my details. I have this PC & motherboard Linky. I asked here a few months back what type of graphics card i could buy. I was told Radeon x1950 would fit. Ive finnaly gotten around to buying and i cant fit it into my PC. Ive only done this once before (bit of a newbie to this sorta thing, soz ^^) and that time it was a case of just slotting the card in. This one isnt just slotting in though so if you could tell me how to fit it id be gratefull ^^

An 'AGP' Radeon X1950 would fit (your boards says it has an 8X AGP slot).
Did you buy a 'PCI-E' Radeon x1950 by any chance?

If the card you have is PCI-E then sadly its not gonna fit.
Could be an omen though, it could mean that you should really have a PC now to go with that graphics card!
Its a bad omen. This is the first time in years ive spent more than £10 on myself due to lack of money ( 2-3 years, last thing i got for more than £10 was the PC). First time in all that time i spend £80 odd on something i cant use. Ouchie

The link you provided above is not to the card you were recommnded to buy. How long have you had the card? Did you buy it from here? If so you can get your money back within 7 days (I think) under distance selling laws

Yeah sorry I didn't make that known as an option.
Didnt dawn on me kris meant i needed the new motherboard hed said about 1 or 2 posts up to get a PCE I one. Like i said, computer newbie. ty for the rcomendation. Ill phone up OC tommorow.
