Suggest some more 'Post-Apocalypse' films...

Fallou... Wait a moment thats a series of games
Obvious to all The MATRIX Trilogy
Ultra Violet
Star Trek 1st Contact (Not really Post-Apocalypse however set in a post apocalypse Earth)

Um, 28 Weeks Later?

NO!

None of that rubbish americanised sequel please!

I remember seeing a bit of a weird post-apoc film (possibly Australian) where a few people wander off from a tribe and come across a couple of geneticly modified super humans. They then get seduced by the mutants, gain their super powers but after a while explode, i think. It was a few years back, and I was probably drunk at the time.

PK!

Taken from a post I made on another forum:

These films are either post-apoc, or show a world in a way that your standard disaster movies don't. They are all great in their own little way.

Mad Max
Waterworld
Tank Girl
Judge Dredd
The Terminator
The Road Warrior
A Boy and His Dog
Dawn of the Dead
Twelve Monkeys
Children of Men
28 Days/Weeks Later
Last Man on Earth
The Omega Man
Threads
Cherry 2000
Zardoz
Cyborg
American Cyborg
Hell Comes to Frogtown
Escape From New York
Stalker
On The Beach
Planet of the Apes
Rollerball
When The Wind Blows
The Matrix
1984
The Day After Tomorrow
Resident Evil

That's all I can think of right now!

I'd strong recommend against watching this awful excuse for a zombie movie.

I'm not mad on Zombie flicks (have a few mates who are though) but I thought all the resident evil movies were pretty similar. Dumb but fun, and more action than horror. There are better zombie flicks, but I enjoyed them. *shrug*

Also quite enjoyed the first dawn of the dead remake. The scenes during the closing credits were ace.

I can't believe this thread is still going! :D

Thanks for all the suggestions, I'm definitely going to check out 'Threads', that sounds right up my street!

Good list.... I recommend 'A boy and his dog'.

Apart from the latest one, I've only seen 1 and 2, I agree they do exactly what they say on the tin. I just couldn't say the same about the new one I'm afraid.
