Daft question re Gigabyte DS3 P965 NB sink

Maybe I'm being stupid, but I can't figure out the plastic pins on the P965 DS3's OE northbridge heatsink. I've got a thermaltake cooler sat here doing nothing, but these wee plastic things have me beaten. And I'm not usually this clueless... Any suggestions?

Normally I use a pair of fine-nose pliers to squeeze together the sides of the tips on the underside of the mobo and push....

You will need to take out the motherboard to get to back of the them.

Dang. Cheers folks. I can't tell you how tempted I am to drill them out from the front now

No need to drill them. Just cut through them with a pair of sidecutters.
