Loads of threads on this, but I need to make a desicion in the next 10 mins...... I WANT TO BUY!!!!

Mostly game at 1680 x 1050 with AA..... system as spec below. Best for me????

Cheers

Lal.

With AA, the GTX is still better at that res. Even without AA it is still a bit better. It may be old, but its still a stonker.

However it draws more power than GTS, and generates more heat. Its also slightly longer.

Looks like the GTX is a winner...... any reccomendations for the 8800GTS? The gainward one is £27 cheaper!

The voices...... Buy, Buy, Buy.......

Which GTX did you get out of interest?

EDIT: Im thinking about getting the OcUK version but im a bit concerned that it wont come with all the leads, drivers etc,

I got 2 OCUK ones this morning and they arrived with everything i would expect (Driver CD which is probably out of date anyway), VGA to DVI, sli bridge. They don't come in a pretty box with a picture of a monster/dogman/well endowed elf chick or whatever on, but who needs that!

^^^

Gave me heart paltatations for a bit!

Does it come in a plain box? Not that it matters much really - Ive bought OEM versions before, and they are just as good as retail. Cant really complain at the price though.

Time for me to take piccys of my HD2900 XT for sale on online auction!
