Hi all,

have seen a few posts on here in the past about camping, so thought someone might have one of these storm kettles. Have seen a couple of vidoes on the net that look quite good, but am interested in some first hand experience...

does anyone have one or used one? any opinions would be great.

thanks. :)

thats a better video than i had found, thanks for that.

one thing i am wondering about is lifting it off the base to pour, it looks as though it could be tricky with the flames coming out the middle, does anyone know if it does pose a problem or if its manageable?

thanks.

From the look of that vid.

1 - Pick up the handle at the top so it's at about 45 degrees
2 - Pick up the cord with the plug at the bottom

Now lift both up so you pick the kettle up at an angle and your hand is not above the "chimney".

thanks. i think you are probably right... still, does anyone have any firsthand experience? is it worth the money? :)
