I got OEM but it came with driver cd. See my other thread for problems installing this card. However Creatives website for driver download is frankly pants as this card is not listed as an option.

I originally tried the download for X-Fi Xtreme Audio which comes up as this:

-Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio Pack 1.04.0078 (40.71 MB) 4 Oct 07

If I select Fata1ity then you get this option:

-Creative Sound Blaster X-Fi XtremeMusic, Platinum, Fatal1ty and Elite Pro Driver with OpenAL support 2.09.0007 (43.53 MB)

Neither state that they support the Gamer card and the Xtreme Audio notes clearly state its only for that card:

This pack is only for the Creative Sound Blaster audio device listed above.

DO NOT install this pack for other Sound Blaster audio devices.

Ive asked CL to advise but not having much joy so far so Id like to know what
others downloaded & installed to get there X-Fi Xtreme Gamers working?

Cheers,
Simon

Hmm not sure what they're playing at not listing the Xtreme Gamer. I noticed it had vanished from the list a couple of months ago when I updated the driver for mine, but I found that when I selected the Xtreme music one and checked the details it did mention all the cards it supported and included the Xtreme Gamer. But this only seems to be the case for the Vista driver, doesnt seem to list supported cards on the XP one.

So for Vista the Xtreme Music driver is deffinitely the same one as the Xtreme Gamer, cant see it being any different for XP.

If you're still nervous about installing that you could mail their support to check, they're actually better than you might imagine.

Great. I have one of these on the way to me as well. Have you tried the auto-update? What's wrong with the drivers on the disk? Surely as these are new cards the drivers should be fairly new.
