im getting annoyed and about to give up, but apparently its possible to take just the voice tracks, or music tracks off a DVD and rip them to hard drive. How do i do it? can somebody tell me?

There should be 2 different audio streams right? one with music/sfx and the other with speech..

anyone got any suggestions?

I've never seen a DVD that has a seperate stream for just voice. But use Virtual Dub Mod, that'll work fine for ripping an audio stream.

These programs are just for ripping an audio stream, which means the whole DVD's music & voice.

im looking for one that can save the audio.. voice & music seperate. so if there is music in the background of people talking i can rip that out and hear them talking without the music.

is it possible?.. my friend said he did it before with evil dead i think

That would mean there was two completely different soundtracks playing at the same time and I've never come across that on a DVD.
