Just been reading PC Gamer and they have a nice little section on games in 2008 so I thought I'd put them all in here. Some games we all know about and some we dont.

I think all these ETAs may be PC Gamers estimates rather than the developers estimates (thats what they usually do).

Hopefully this is a little bit useful to some people!

Hmmm, how do we know if it's winter 2007/2008 as opposed to 2008/2009.

Only two that really stick out for me are Alan Wake and Fallout 3.

Doubt we'll be seeing Star Trek Online next year given the problems the developers are having just now.

They seem to be missing Age of Conan in the list, which is due in 2008 though I'm also looking at Warhammer Online. Didn't know about the other new Warhammer games though so that'll be a couple to watch for. Also, Starcraft 2. :)

The rest seem a bit "meh" at the moment.
 
Star Trek Online looks kinda cool, especially since there's no shows at the minute.

Now, only need to upgrade from dial-up to broadband (Like that's ever going to happen!)

Yeah I was thinking that with WotLK, don't think we'll see it out in a couple of months, but surely out by mid year.

sorry but pc gaming is slowly going down hill. need to much power and graphics cards change like the weather now.. seems you have to upgrade every 6-12 months to keep up.. nothing in the pc market has got me wanting to upgrade yet.. may be by end of next year i`ll be looking.. then i can catch up with anything i`ve missed . and play in high spec to.. :cool:

Just added that to the list, they have loads of games in this 2008 list maybe I'll add them all a bit later just tried to pick out all the big ones, missed that one.

Also added after a bit more in depth reading: Castle Wolfenstein, C&C3 Expansion and The Crossing

Edit: Added Multiwinia, Pirates of the Burning Sea, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Saboteur

Anyone know about Re-return to Castle Wolfenstein?

A new game engine surely rather than using Doom 3

I'm hoping for a decent length campaign rather than the short-stuff of late

Possible good ones. mostly first person.. heh
 
Huxley winter 08 seems fair, despite the dev's website still promising it within 2007. Some good games in the list, but apart from Huxley I can't see any I'm really looking forward to (unlike 07, with HL2, TF2, UT3...)
 
Fallout 3 , Alan Wake , those is to im getting 100%

there actually loads of good titles : Spore , FEAR 2 , Mafia 2 , Stalker : clear sky's , Starcraft 2 , those are promising title to but it seems not racing games again :rolleyes:
