Have bought 2 phones off of there, just look for a good reputable seller and everything will be fine. You get the warranty card in the box etc so theres no real problem there.

Yea try to avoid low feedback sellers even if the price is very tempting. More than likely scammers.

Well, you need a code to bypass the activation first. But what you do after that to actually unlock the phone is software based.

Once you unlock the iPhone, it will work on all networks in any country except for 3G (there may be others).

I think your right on earlier version but the latest with 1.1.2 & 4.6 are unlockable without a hardware solution
