Mascherano is utter garbage, what exactly does he do that makes him so good? I hear Liverpool players bleat on and on, but I'm sorry, I don't see it and I definitely didn't see it today.

Tevez, Torres, Mascherano, Hargreaves... all young players I'd have LOVED to have seen at Old Trafford and now it looks like we are going for what I've said for a long time, the most overrated striker in the world.

Gerrard only made the odd attempt to burst into the box and unless Anderson was invisible then he was not around (completely unmarked when Kewell picked him out at the back post).

As for it taking 3 players to mark ronaldo out the game, i think you're talkin' a load of balls. Ok, riise had him marked out the game for most of the time and kewell was back covering, Ronaldo is a big threat and everyone knows what he's capable of doing so rafa is blatently going to organise his defence to squash that threat. I wouldn't even say gerrard was marked out the game, he didn't have as much freedom in getting forward but he certainly played a part in the build-ups.
