Hi All

I have bought some Sony MDR-EX90 earphones from the bay recently, and now have found that they are some cheap chinese fakes. I am trying to prove to ebay and paypal that this seller is selling only fakes, and am warning his past customers.

I was just wondering if someone had a link to a good guide, with pics, on how to spot Sony earphone fakes, especially the MDR-EX90's ? I saw one somewhere a few weeks ago, but cant for the life of me find it now ! ! ! ! Or does anyone have any good ways of spotting fakes - so that I can compile a guide for everyone else on the net.

Why not contact Sony?
I'm sure they are aware of fakes and maybe able to help you out? Also, i'm sure they would be interested to know about anyone selling fake Sony gear on ebay!

I unknowingly bought a fake Sony Pro Duo card some time ago on the bay. When it wouldn't work I did some checks and found it was a cheapy copy. I opened a dispute with Paypal after the seller refused to respond. I just told them it was fake and not correct with the seller's lisgin description and after a week or so they found in my favour and I got a full refund. It was suprisingly pretty much hassle free!

ebay will do jack about it. i fell sucker to buying some nike air rifts from the bay.

ebay did jack.

nike did respond. they asked for photos, which i sent. then they said "yes, they're fakes. contact the seller for a refund"

they dont seem to care what goes on, on ebay... however they did pull one of my sales because i put that i reserve the right to pull the auction as the item was advertised elsewhere... like tonnes of people do.

im really not fussed with ebay anymore. it's a pile of poo these days.
