OcUK Forum Trolls - WoW Guild

What do you guys mean by 'rolling a paladin'? Do you just mean that you'll play as a Paladin?

Still playing as lv 53 alliance at the moment, but may join in future - fancy trying some horde quests.

might re-roll priest then if we're short on the ol' healers, could always have my hunter as just twink pvp or sth! :)

if i shadow spec my priest, could i still be an effective healer in lower level instances (befor ei make the switch to holy...

or should i just roll as a holy pally/shammy ?

never made a shammy before, and never got a pally past level 20, lol - any suggestions?

nice on, thanks for that :)

anybody care to explain how shammy's work, like best equip/tree for dps/healing etc....

will also need to think of another witty name, lol :)

Updated the list.

Anyone know the details of Blizzard's rules regarding what can be used for guild names?

:Edit: I'll definitely be going either Shaman or Paladin.

Enhancement for Shaman DPS with a heavy 2 hander until 40, then dual wield a couple of blue axes or something. Windfury is your friend.

Restoration for Healing, with a mace and shield (a mail paladin basically)

I'm unaware of any rules for guildnames aside from what you physically can't do (numbers etc). No insults or swearing, and they're not too happy with Gibberish either. Other than that, guild names are a free for all.

Kinda.. Although the main difference and the best part of a resto shammy is there healing wave (and totems) it doesn't help 1 person at a time it helps all in the group.

Each healing class is great tho, perfect to have a nice mix in a raid.

I think again it's just common sense. No swearing/racism/copyrighted names etc.

As long as you dont have overclockers.co.uk as the guild name or in any direct way promote the website you should be fine.

Although if a non member reconises OcUK and has issues they may report it and thus resulting in being forced to change the guild name.

Blizz help site:

Guild names can be a maximum of 24 characters in length and must be at least 2. Guild names may not have three of the same letter in a row or two consecutive spaces and must conform to the naming policy, viewable here:

Below are guidelines to help you determine whether or not the name you have chosen is appropriate for your character, guild, or pet. Hopefully, we encompass all manner of barred names; however there may be inappropriate names which do not fit into any of these categories. We reserve the right to evaluate each incident on a case by case basis, and in extreme cases, take action beyond what is detailed here.
Highly Inappropriate

Names which fall under the following categories are deemed to be highly inappropriate. Clarification on what constitutes each category can be found by clicking on the links below.

* Racial/Ethnic/National
* Extreme Sexuality/Violence
* Sexual Orientation
* Obscene/Vulgar

Though we have varying tolerance for repeated abuse of each category, any name that violates one of these categories will most likely:

* Be forced to choose a new name next time the character is logged in
* Be temporarily suspended from the game

Moderately Inappropriate

Names which fall under the following categories are deemed to be mildly inappropriate. Clarification on what constitutes each category can be found by clicking on the links below.

* Harassing or Defamatory
* Blizzard Employees
* Inappropriate
* Advertising

Though we have varying tolerance for repeated abuse of each category, any name that violates one of these categories will most likely:

* Be forced to choose a new name next time the character is logged in
* Be given a warning

Restricted

Names which fall under the following categories are restricted and will most likely not receive an account penalty on the first instance. Clarification on what constitutes each category can be found by clicking on the links below.

* Trademarks
* Pure Gibberish
* Contain "Leet" or "Dudespeak"
* Titles (Does not apply to Guild or Pet Names)
* Real World References
* Partial or Complete Sentences (Does not apply to Guild Names)

Though we have varying tolerance for repeated abuse of each category, any name that violates one of these categories will most likely:

* Be forced to choose a new name next time the character is logged in

IMPORTANT

* Repeatedly violating any area of the Terms of Use (ToU), including the areas detailed above, will often result in temporary suspension from the game.
* This policy is not language-restrictive. Names that fall under this policy will always be subject to the repercussions listed, whether they are inappropriate in English or any other language.
* Questionable names may not be changed immediately, but at a later date, pending further review. Blizzard reserves the right to change any names we deem inappropriate or that violate policy.
* Players found to be in violation of the above policies may be assigned a randomly generated temporary name for their character, guild, or pet. An E-mail will be sent to the account's registered E-mail address with instructions on how to change his/her temporary name to one of their choice.

Hope that clears things up :p

Yeah i was kinda referencing gear more than healing ability. Although having said that, paladins are very much dependant on Spell Crit. or always used to be anyway, i know they've had changes recently.

reckon they will accept the name Suckmytotem ??... pff i doubt it!

need another witty name!

Well, if having OcUK in the title is being slightly too much hassle, we could always have a suffix-esque guild name.

Deanje <and the Forum Trolls> or something?

Hold fire on the whole guild name thing until I get clarity on using OcUK, that'd be the best.
