I've always found Pro Evo pens to be almost completely random, very little skill involved. You can give yourself the best chance by picking players with a decent performance indicator, but it's still pretty much pot luck.

Doesn't it let you control the force your player applies to the ball?

Yep the ai keeper always dives.

Some players like to blast it over, Rooney for example. I find if you pick small players it's more likely to go on target from my experiance.

You can either go left centre or right low but they will safe atleast one or two

If I am playing a human its centre twice and a left and right

Never seen that happen when I've been playing. I've put it over the bar, but never the wrong way!

I find it impossible to save them. Probably me and my bad pes skills lol. Its a lottery.

Never had any trouble putting away PES penalties until the last game i played on PES2008, missed two in one game! Its saving them thats difficult, PARTICULARLY on PES2008 with the stupid view.
