Alternative to Logitech G7

What is considered its replacement (either by Logitech or another manufacturer).

Im struggling to find one which ticks all of its box's.

Logitech replace them with the Revolution MX.

I personally found the MX horrible for gaming - really really low DPI.

I sold mine and replaced it with a G9. Its not wireless but its the best think from them that i have found, and i'm really really happy wiht it.

If they offer you a MX rev suggest that its not as good as what it is replacing... did the same for my MX510 (they offerred a MX518) said it wasn't good enough and they've given me one of the new 2007 G5's which to me feels identical in shape and size, but has on the fly sensitivity change

They won't give you anything else. I've tried that one.

In the end i brought a G9, and will wait til after xmas to RMA my g7. its only 11months old

send it to logitech for them to fix it, they probably can. Logitech Customer service is fantastic.

I'd say the G5 (newest version) is the closest alternative (if albeit wired).

They won't fix, they just replace and as the G7 is EOL they just replace it with the closest model.

TBH i'd prefer to keep my g9 its a lot nicer feel to it.
