This morning I was travelling through Windsor at a decent speed, not to much traffic and then got caught up by a group of riders on horses. Of course everyone did the decent thing and slowed right down, tried not to startle the horses etc but the tail back was huge. Morning rush hour, over a roundabout and past a couple of schools it was causing chaos.
Now I don't mean to rant, I always set of early because these kind of things happen quite often so I could just sit there listening to the radio with no risk of being late but wow those horses managed to jam things up.
Now we all have a joke now and then that pensioners should be banned between the hours of 8am and 9am because they go slow and jam up the roads however I often run into slow moving traffic on my way into work. For example often it will be a tractor, or a lorry trying to climb some of the steep inclines, once it was a lorry carrying a tank of some description. Should 'slow' road users be banned in the rush hour?
My opinion is no, because everyone is entitled to use the road freely, but what do you all thing?
(A simple yes/no poll would be nice if you could Dons).
