i think the cold air is giving my car more power now as it wheelspins in 3rd gear. poooowwwaaaahhhhh!

either that or the cheap tyres i have on my car which still have lots of tread on are incredibly crap and it is in fact scary that they sell these!

I have to have huge gaps at junctions because of the sheer amount of torque my car produces even in second and no stability features, I just spin out :(

On the way back from a friends, I was wheelspinning and skidding at every junction.

Nearly rear-ended a Focus at a roundabout. *shakes head*

Thing is, I drive a 1.2 Clio with Dunlop WinterSports. Salt + damp surface = leathal!

I wasn't driving dangerously/incorrectly for the conditions (if that's what you're assuming). Or so I thought at the time anyway. Had a good distance from the car infront, good clutch control etc.

But you're right I needed to adjust, and I did after the near miss.

Roads are very slippy at the moment.

Concentration needs to be at maximum at the moment. Especially with no traction control.

My car spins up in third and it has no torque. That pretty much removes all impressiveness in this thread.
