He played them both more than once and more than once was too much time as far as I'm concerned.Nunez and Josemi certainly weren't given timeMorientes only had 18months and you can hardly blame him for that, he had the potential to be a great signing.
No one can blame Benitez for Morientes, he just didn't settle, but he was given far more time than his performances at the time deserved.
You have to remember that Josemi started really well and was almost forced to play rb as Finnan started the season as a rm (because Nunez picked up a knee injury before the season kicked-off). As soon as Nunez was fit and the likes of Garcia settled Finnan went straight back to rb and Nunez started occasionally on the right, mainly down to injuries where Garcia had to play off the striker as either Gerrard or Alonso were injured for the best part of the season (when everyone was fit it was Alonso + Hamann in the middle with Gerrard off the striker and Garcia + Riise out wide).

In the last 8 semi-final draws containing Spurs and Arsenal we've been drawn together 7 times. (the only time we didn't get drawn together was the 1999 FA Cup semi's)
What are the odds of that? What do you reckon to the fact of rigged draws and not wanting a potential nightmare to police with a Spurs v Arsenal final??

Deserved Chelsea win me thinks. Very strange behavior from Crouch I must say.
Basically we just never had a strong enough squad out. When Crouch went off we where only left with Babel who could possibly pose a threat. But along comes Benitez and show shows us his managerial skillz
Momo was freakishly awful as usual (I just hope Benitez sees this...) Hobbs aint ready for first team football, but he has potential. And Voronin simply isn't good enough at a high level, I think he has a head for football, but he has no natural or technical ability... and quite frankly I think he's a bit lazy.
Positives to take:
Carrager played really well. Did you see him mouth "Jammy B******" when Frank got the deflection? Lol
I thought our keeper played really well except for the Shevchenko goal. It was dissapointing but he should take a lot of positives from his performance IMO.

I thought i was the only one who saw that. I was in stitches. There was real spite there as well, must've been thinking "that **** always gets a deflection then runs off like an arrogant ****** who thinks hes the best player in the world. I should smash his face in"...
