*** nForce 7 Arrives Soon ***

got my board registered and submitted the upgrade request, concerning the receipt do i have to post a copy of this along with my old board or upload a copy to the evga site.

The EVGA version is up just under £200. Bit cheaper than the Asus. Are the features/differences with the Asus boards worth the extra?
Overpriced dammit! :(

I would wait to see how the asus turns out, if it's like the reference board then I'll take it as I'd rather have some heatpipes and silence than a noisy fan. If it turns out to be like the striker extreme then evga/xfx 780i board all the way.

I would like to have seen it with a CPU known to be able to do 500FSB, cause 500FSB on a Striker E is rare, infact on most its rare but can be done if you get a good sample Mobo.

Half Multi is good, I always had them until now.

It will suck just as much as the 680i, I wish there was was a proper Intel chipset that supported SLI.

Riiiiiight. Have you even read the review(s)? So far it seems to be doing pretty much the opposite to sucking and looks like a great feature packed board!

Its 680I with an extra chip, It will still suffer from all the old problems.

What problems? Just interested as my bro currently has the EVGA 680i model and will be upgrading. But his current board seems a good stable board and it clocks his C2D to ~3.4Ghz. He hasn't mentioned any issues with it like?

Anyway, all I'm saying is that, what, 2 reviews now have praised the new chip/mobo? Don't be so pessimistic man. ;)

I've had 4 evga 680I board they all died, I've switched to a ip35 and its sooo much faster and more stable, Crossfire is let down by poor AMD drivers and SLI is let down by poor chipsets, If i could get an intel chipset with SLI it would be perfect :)

Firegod, if i am not mistaken i heard the 680i mobo's become unstable with 4gb ram.

Hmmm cheers for that. :)

That's not good like, lol. Perhaps my bro just got lucky. :) Hopefully then this new chipset will not just be a re-hash of the 680i then! Can't wait for it to arrive.

There is hard evidence in the reviews of the board so far that seem to lean towards the fact it doesn't suck as much as 680i boards. In fact, so far it seems to be fantastic. :D

i cant complain about my 680i, ive got the a1 version, great board for overclocking, simply unlink memory from your cpu, find your best cpu clock then start clocking your memory
