So the g25 has arrived with the Playseat gearstick holder.
Tonight will tell if a few guys on various forums have been over exagerating on how good this actually is. This game is my prime interest for the wheel rather than PC sims.
Quite an expensive gamble.
However no mistaking the build and finish quality of the product its leaps and bounds better than the X360 wheel.
Is taken me over an hour to dismantle my x360 wheel from the racing frame and attach the G25.
Add to that im non to pleased with the instructions regards the gearshift adapter for the playseat.Builind it was simple attaching it was no major problems but.....
The gearshift housing wont fit on the gearshift mount without modification.
Tried removing a plastic clamp to no avail. Found a solution in the end though.
= junior hacksaw to the plastic clamp = 3 mins later it was gone = problem solved.
The wheel and the actual gearstick have holes for screwing to a playseat frame.
Will give a brief comment back tonight, with a thread on the topic for the weekend.
*walks in*

i am contemplating it. if the menu's are all jap, all just wait though. what with me knowing no Japanese at all, it just gets frustrating after a while lol
G25 first feelings
Has taken me ages to get the G25 setup on the Playseat (removing the 360 wheel) have had a few goes, still getting the feel for it.
First impressions are good but a little mixed. The gear-stick feels crap and lifeless. I was aware this part of the product was its weaker point but im not so convinced that its going to be the most enjoyable way of playing the game. Still its early yet.
The paddle shifters without clutch and gears may be my own more preferred style. In general the wheel feels great as do the paddle shifters and the pedals are good too.
