So say your mum, who doesnt know much about computers as most people in that generation do not, hears about eBay from a friend or on the news, perhaps as a place to bag a bargain, spots this and thinks it would be a nice present for you for christmas. The website looks reputable and is famous, what could possible go wrong. Next thing she knows, she opens open a letter with a picture of a computer and a receipt for £600.
You would be quite happy for this scenario to unfold would you?
its absolute no different to telephone scams of old, praying on the vulnerable or ill informed. If you cant see why its wrong, you disgust me.
Whether it is worth £600 is another matter. I could organise whatever I wanted for a price I think is fair. If no one buys the item then I only have myself to blame.
Again, just proves that if people are stupid enough not to read the description properly they deserved to be relieved of £600. It couldn't be clearer, you are bidding for a photo of a Dell laptop.
It's not morally correct however....

You'd probably set her straight with a hard hit with a keyboard tooI'd tell my mum not to be so stupid in the future![]()

So just because somebody isnt as educated is you in the ways of computers and the internet as you they are stupid? You must have very very few equals.

I can't believe you would even imply that people who bought this would be expecting a photo of a laptop. The seller is trying to decieve people, end of.Sure is.
All he is doing is trying to sell at picture of a laptop at a silly high price. Nowt wrong with that in my opinoin.
