Well, after 5 weeks of being camera-less (thank you again Mr Burglar) I finally picked up my replacement 70-200 VR and camera...the D3. And the best bit of all, it didn't cost me a penny, so Mr Burglar didn't have the last laugh

What a looovely bit of kit!! Going to hopefully go out sunday with it and put it through its paces. F

He stole my D2x and 70-200 VR which was brand new and a few other bits and bobs! grrrr. The D2x I got 2nd hand in january of this year and had planned to sell to fund the D3 anyway, so I ended up getting full retail back for it which was handy!

I'd love to, but I appear to not have the right plugin for photoshop to open the D3 files and I don't have time to sort it now. Will do so once I have got things going though, probably tomorrow at some point

Same thing happened to me - my fuji 6500fd was stolen and i upgraded* to a 400d with kit lens. insurance went up and no claims for as long as i can remember went out the window
