Guys,
I have been clocking my 8800GT recently and been a little alarmed at the 88 Degrees it got to when I run Crysis (clock was core 670Mhz mem 1000Mhz)

I bought myself an AC Accelero S1 and I have a Yate loon 120mm LED fan go stick on it, but I can't find which way the airflow from the fan should go ?

Blow air towards the GPU core through the fins of the Accelero or draw air from the GPU and then the fins to the rest of the air in the case??

Blow air towards the GPU core through the fins of the Accelero

So it also cools the ram and board

its probly the way i would do it but wont that be blowing warm air onto the ram and board ?

is there space to have it between the board and the fins blowing away from the card ?

to be fair though id just try both ways and monitor the temps

Tried it both ways and this works best for me - might be worth trying both ways to see what works best for op.

just thought of another question, did you use the 3 pin fan plug to hook up on the card (is there this option ?) or did you use the fans 3pin - to 4 pin adaptor and a 4-pin molex to any power source ?

I've got an Accelero and an 8800GT and my idle temps are 41 and 58 under load (ATI Tool) That is cooling passively . Are you sure that your case airflow is adequate?

Its a Silverstone Tj09 with 5 120 mm Yate loons...keeps my Q6600 cool and it has a dedicated GPU cooler (designed in).

Its just that I have clocked it a little and Crisys is v demanding oh and ambient is 24 Deg small child in the house :)

Yate loons are great i have one in my kama bay but they don't push anywhere near as much air as my akasa ambers have to say.
