9600GT to be the first product of Geforce 9 series

Lol, you can say what you want, just don't want people getting stressed over nothing. Anyway, are people going to be selling their current cards en-mass for these new ones? DirectX10 has turned out to be a disappointment so far imo in that it practically offers next to no massive visual improvements in games like C.O.H and Lost Planet yet halves your framerate.

Lost Planet is bad example, its a buggy Console Port TBH, the DX10 one runs like Crysis lol.

Im on a card that has 1+year old tech, Im ready for a 9800Ultra (or whatever its called) :D

Give it time i expected more but the improvements will come imo or there was no point in releasing it in the first place.

Is Alan Wake a game that's been built from the ground-up for DX10? Unlike the current one's that have simply been patched for it and some which include nothing more than some 3D rocks on the ground.

It'll probs be DX9 aswell and run worse in DX10 like all the other games.

Makes sense for the GT version of the family to be released first, looks like Nvidia have learned from the **** up they made with the 8800 series :p

Are you mad, you need to go and learn to use Google, I aint your personal assistant, I posted it here many times before.

I can be wrong daily, but I know for fact everything I said is on websites said by him, you go look for it.

You cant disprove it as its true what I said, your either to lazy or thick to go look in this Forum using SEARCH and my nick+Crysis as Keywords (then have long read to try find posts as many) or Google the same a i did.

You told a guy his info was wrong, where as he was correct ands you were wrong, that 1 Game is a joke for now and who in their right mind will judge hardware by it as nothing runs it well as its so messed up, and where is the 10 day patch ?, seems like 30days now.

Lamer on ignore perm.

Shock horror as helmutcheese throws another wobbler and put's another "lamer" on the ignore. Sort your attitude issues out seriously. God forbid you act like this in real life you'd get no where. I'm guessing you're under 16, must be.

No one cares about you or the fact you put people on ignore, but keep going and you'll have no one but your self to talk to ;)

Regarding the OP, means I'll be keeping this GTX a while longer yet which means I don't have to dip into my wallet quite so soon, which is only a good thing to me.

9600GT’s GPU is a 65nm processing chip. We already seem this tech on G92/D8P and G98/D8M

Can anyone tell me what those suffixes mean please? (D9P/D8M).

Lets hope nVidia sort of a nice GeForce 9600 because I thought the 8600 was a poor effort.

He's not said it's not buggy either so you've made a completely unrelated point.

Hey Ulfhedjinn, that's what I was trying to get too. If Yerli hasn't actually said himself Crysis is or isn't buggy and other sources are also saying this is not the case or haven't commented on it, why are some people making out that the drop in performance in Crysis is all down to the game being buggy as being a fact. (Hope that make's sense) :)
