3850 256mb @£90 or 8800 gt 512mb @ £140?

What should I choose? I am on a bit of a budget but if the GT is really worth £50 more I will get it.

Yea it is worth 50 more as its faster but also has 512 of memory and to me if you are a serious gamer thats the minimum memory you need these days.

at that resolution the the 512mb 8800 for sure.

I did some benchmarks and it seems like my GT @ 700/1800/1000 is 10fps in crysis faster than a 3850 clocked to 1Ghz core but then again I only had a duo at 3.4 whilst the guy with the 1ghz 3850 had a q6600 @3.6.

Where you using exactly the same settings/res/highest quality in the Nvidia control panel?

What version drivers were you using?

What card did he have? 512MB or 256MB?
