9 Year Old Beats Through the Fire and the Flames - EXPERT!

Not too sure why people say stuff like 'yeah but I bet he can't play the real guitar at all' no, of course he can't, it's a game. It's like Federer having a go at a 9 year old kid because the kid beat him on Wii Sports tennis. Not sure why people relate guitar hero to real life over any other game.

Except the videos suggest this kid can :). But I get your point ;).
 
I take it i missed the comments about not being able to play guitar?

Only similarity between guitar hero and actual guitar is timing and co-ordination, and even then you're only like 1% of the way there. I've been playing guitar for ages now, And I can tell you now, It definitely helps with guitar hero. Not sure about the reverse. :p
 
Read the thread title and KNEW it was this kid....As Memphis said, he has a shed load of videos on YouTube.....With 90% comments slaughtering him for waving at the camera before every song.......Poor kid :D
 
i can see how playing the guitar may help in playing this game, but the other way round? you only press 5 (or is it 6, i havent played it) buttons on guitar hero...slightly easier than playing a guitar :p

tempted to get GH3 for the wii after xmas
 
Have not played any of the GH games, but that video scares the s*** out of me and looks seriously impressive. kudos to that kid!

I've played guitar for 7 or so years... I'm absolutely rubbish at guitar hero :P

Saying that, you can't place ~3 hours of playing against 32948!
 
That doesn't surprise me in the slightest. Kids have a truely insane amount of free time to spend on doing these kinds of things.
 
why are there so many people hating on this kid with "bet he cant do it on a real guitar"

can u handle a machine gun like u can in call of duty, or get head shots with a sniper rifle in real life? can u handle that ferrari fxx in the snow in real life like u can in pgr4?

didnt think so...

this kid has mad skills, end of story
