Supermarkets are open till 10ish today right?

Hi people!

Well it's xmas! (No kidding

) .... Just wondering are the usual supermarkets such as Tesco etc, still open till 10ish?...Was in town and most retailers closed up at like 4pm, so just wondering if this was the same for supermarkets? - Need a few games

As guys above have said, they will be closing early today. I've seen most of them with signs at the front door stating the Christmas and New Year opening times.

Hope you get to one sharpish and get what you're after.

Sainsbury's in Stoke is 06:00-18:00 today!

Yea most are shutting early today, 5pm today for tesco adn 6pm on new years eve.

Should be... But I went to a Tesco last week at its regular opening hours as stated on its website only to find it had closed an hour earlier than it says. When I tried pointing that to the 'bouncer' on the door, he just repeated that the shop was closed and to clear off! Cheeky!

My tesco's shut at 5pm today, and that's a mahoosive extra store so I don't think any will be open now :\

Milk and bread was SOLD out....literally crazy (One woman came out with at least 10-15 milk bottles)...Feeding the 5000!

It's ridiculous. 1 day without the shop being open and people feel the need to buy everything in it, just in case.

I've been refused entry to out local Morrisons 25 minutes before they officially shut on a Sunday. All I needed was a pack of bacon and they refused to let through. Not as if I was wheeling a trolley in....

Complained loudly and was told the Manager wasn't in and to "Go away". Having worked in retail I guessed the staff were wanting a quick getaway, but they shouldn't be barring entry to the store. Sent a stinking letter to the store and CC'd head office. Arses got kicked and they've stopped it now

Disaster! - our christmas ham (nice one from M&S) which we bought yesterday has vanished! No ham for me :/
