Judging by his location (leeds), and the dealer location (near chesterfield), its not that local.

guys i need help with the insurance!

i keep getting silly quotes of £2500-£4000 but i know a fair few on here had ghia x's when they were under 20 years old, which insurance company did you use?? i've seen a few cars for <£1000 so ill probably be buying after xmas.

Holy crap thats some big insurance quotes, try places like Adrian Flux. They usually insure younger drivers, for less than some other companies.

Look in the sticky at the top of the page and give some of those companies a ring, see what they say.

I paid £750 for my ghia x - but it was a v6 which are unsurprisingly cheaper than the 2l.

I'm sure you'll be able to get a £500 discount due that ghastly plastic wood in the interior.

Given that you should also be able to get another £500 off due to the car being so ugly, and you've got a bargain.
