So who is looking forward to their food and drink today

Whats on your lineup?

My parents have started with bucks Fizz! I might crack open a beer soon :p

Can't wait for some turkey later on today though :D

we are having the usual family gathering this afternoon for dinner.

I shall be on the beers later - still feeling a little dry from last nights shenanigans :D

Just had a nice light breakfast of scrambled egg and smoked salmon, then im off to the pub with my dad in about half an hour then back for dinner this afternoon

i couldn't do that, I'd feel bad that i was having a good time while the barman was working, although i suppose if he has his locals then he is basically with friends :)

I have the dinner cooking right now.. Had two beers so far, the bottle of red is breathing and the Moet is in the fridge.

We have got (for 4 people) Sirloin joint, the turkey, a nice corner cut gammon joint and the usual pot's and veg.

Will post pics later on the Photo forum as I will making use of my new tripod. :)

Had asti and cava with a smoked salmon and scrambled egg with toast for breakfast, got some cold meat and stuff for lunch then a badass turkey roast for dinner!
Got a bottle of port to drink so I might start on that soon...

Our main christmas dinner was last night as my family is Polish.

Today we have the usual Christmas dinner but it never compares. Got plenty of Zubr and Tyskie left over from last night so I think I'll focus on that :D

Scrambled eggs on toast for breakfast. Lunch this year is M&S seafood goodies for starter followed by beef en croute (beef wellington) and christmas pud and cheese course. There should be wine on tap but I fear it might be a rather sober day :( Going to pop to the pub if it's open for a festive pint with the locals while the zombies downstairs play on their Wii.

Remember kids dont eat or drink to much or you will feel crap by the end of the day.

This is a reminder brought to you from the Future™

I made pretty much everything bar the steamed/boiled veg and stuffing. Turkey with thyme butter under the skin, wrapped in streaky bacon, roast potatoes, carrots and parsnips in turkey juices. Plenty of juices to make a stew or soup tomorrow, and LOADS of turkey left over = WIN.

I've got a trifle for just me next...*drools*

Mmmm the sparkling white and creme de peches came out :)

Jonny is happy :)

Zip is fat and bloated:(

Never seen so many prawns in my life.

There was Literary 100s! Wit only about 15-20 people to eat them

There are still heaps left:eek:

With $100 of Oysters aswell!(Free though;))

then there was the other meat.

I had a lunch and a Dinner so 2 things! i was Feeling crap from the lunch but tea just finished it off:p

Just been basting my turkey. :D

Really looking forward to it. I've stuffed the pocket between the skin and the breasts with butter mixed with herbs and stuffed the cavity with onions, orange, garlic, thyme and bay leaves. All the usual accompaniments as well :D Can't wait to eat!

Drinks wise I'll be knocking back a few ciders from the West Country.

Somebody else watched Jamie Oliver! Very nice it is, too.

The pub was only open for 2 hours plus all the workers are well known and theres plenty of regulars so they are with friends while not spending all day working :)
