First off its a great phone so far, but i have a few questions,

1: In texting and stuff, how do you backspace lol?

2: When viewing Videos, why does it only show them in the small little box and not the full landscape screen?

3: What does Macro and Iso settings mean in camera settings?

4: Why does 120fps Video go really dark?

Thanks

Merry Xmas!:D

I can answer 1 3 and 4....backspace is the hard key C between hang up and call :)

Macro is for close ups, ISO is the sensitivity of the sensor, the higher it is the faster the shutter speed can be, but the more speckles you'll get!

120fps video means that the shutter speed of each frame is going to have to be higher to fit 120 of them in 1 second, thus if the light aint too great it's gonna be a bit dark:)

Tom.

1. The 'C' key on the bottom
2. Because the screen is widescreeen, but the video you just shot was 4:3
3. Macro means that the camera focuses really close, so if you're taking a picture of something thats closer than about a foot you need macro mode on. ISO settings the light sensitivity of the camera sensor, 100 for a bright sunny day lets the camera know there is going to be lots of light so it can take a fast shot, iso 800 lets it know its going to be dark and therefore is more sensitive.
4. Shutter speed is really high so it doesn't allow a lot of light onto the sensor.

Thanks a lot guys, just a few more lol:

1: Im on pay as you go on 3 (didnt really need a contract), and if i go onto google and theres like youtube, email etc, and i go on google maps, does that cost me?

2: How can i check my credit? (im on 3 btw)

Thanks, so far loving the phone :)

1. Although you can search on Google for free, you are charged for accessing anything past that. (You'll get a message saying that you'll be charged £2/Meg). if you go a lot of web browsing, buy an addon for the account. 50p for one day of access, £2.50 for a weeks access or £5.00 for one month of internet access.

2. Just go to Planet 3, Go to My3, then in there select: Check my balance

Thanks, and for the google question, i mean that google maps actually seems to be an app on my phone.

ahh damn finger prints, i tried using the screen cover that came with it but it was useless, is there any way to get them off easy?

im getting a little annoyed with mine, is anyone elses slightly sluggish bringing up the main home screen and generally being none responsive to touch.

so far mines very responsive, couldnt be happier with it, only thing is the screen gets really covered in marks and finerprints but i suppose thats expected on a touchscreen phone :p

You can get some sticky tape and stick it to one of the corners of the cover and gently lift it up. Might take a few goes though.

I just went in P4U and tried one of these, (ive thought of stuff after ive played about with it sorry!)

Can someone tell me is it dead easy to lock the keypad if you like (the touch screen I mean) as my phone lives in my pocket, and I cant keep pressing keys.

Also how easy is it to put on silent, take off silent?

How quick is the net (it wasnt connected so I couldnt load this up)

How big a memory card does it have?

What about the choice of ringtones, can I put mp3 ones on it?

Do you get a cover and/or a stylus with it?

Any other bits of info from people who've got it, im basically used to nokias, but was very impressed when I tried it, the bloke just started trying to talk me into a contract, and so I had to leave to stop him going on!

Theres a button on the side to lock the keypad.

Easy to change profile > silent / normal etc

Net speeds are great (free net off peak for three months with orange)

Doesn't come with a memory card. Uses micro sd

Yes to MP£ ring tones

You get a screen protector and a stylus.

Anyone know where you can get themes from?

Clear out your old messages and restart it. Might help.

Or, change the touchpad sensitivity?

You get a screen protector and a stylus.

Is there a slot on the phone where it slides in?
I just couldnt spot one, and its the type of thing I would lose easily.
When its on silent, does it vibrate if you get a call or a txt?

Touchpad sensitivity, trying to find it only found calibration but that aint sensitivity :p

Sorry mate... I'm new to the phone. I should have said that it was a guess that somewhere there is touchpad sensitivity...My bad.

As for the stylus Knip... It comes in an ever so feminine Max-Faxtor style thing and has a loop on it to attach to the phone. It looks naff, and my svelte fingers manage the touchpad quite well. In fact, I find it a whole lot easier without the stylus. It is handy for web browsing though - when links are close together.

HTH ?

Thanks ALLI

Can someone tell me what the web browsing is like to use. I tried an i-phone last night and was blown away, just cant afford one.
And will someone put theirs on silent for me, and tell me if it vibrates if it rings/recieves a txt please.

Yes it does, you just set it to vibrate, its what i have mine on most of te time.

Web brosing is quick and easy, i just find i have to wipe the screen quite often :p
