Having a really good crack at sorting vista out. Just fixed windows update and updated BIOS to resolve memory + cpu problems so hoping the game will install when I try again :D
 
dammit level 10 coming up, i can feel the crack surge through my veins... ill msg for access once I finish all the quests I can.
 
I envy you guys...

Playing Warcraft for the first few weeks, was some of the most fantastic gaming I've ever done. I'll shamelessly concede that the 'magic' feeling I had whilst running through some of those zones for the first time will never be topped. 3 level 70's and 3000 hours later and I'm still longing for that nostalgia :(.

Enjoy it, it's a bloody good game. People may bash it (and its community too)- but the simple fact is that a game with no merits doesn't attract 10 million paying customers.
 
What level are most people at? I'm very tempted to join.. but fool that I am I just re-rolled shaman on Neptulon sigh.
If most people are still very low I'm interested.
Will probably roll as a healer of some kind seeing as they're always in demand ;)

ps. can someone post some info on paying to transfer toons? thanks
 
Most people are somewhere between level 10-25 at the moment, its pretty active, seems quite fun so far. :D I might be joining up in the new year.
 
Anyone know the rules regarding WoW and the G15? Parents got me one for Christmas but i've heard horror stories of people being banned from WoW for using them and the macro's etc you can create.

When in doubt, err on the side of caution. I have a G11, which is the younger cousin of the G15 and I only use simple macros for it, and nothing advanced.

Lots of low levels still and lots of shammies and priest's :)
 
Yeah loking at the list yesterday there were no tanks :o Ive started a warlock, one of about 4 playing yesterday, seem to be a couple of rogues but except for 1 level 60 they were all lvl 7 - 25. Seen as how you can hit the teens in a couple of hours by doing nowt but quests its a good time to join up.

Not going to sign up until I finish all the quests around the undercity, but its crack time again!
 
the level ranges from level 3-30 at the moment, the main levels are between 10-20 though, and getting level 10 will take you all of a few hours to get! so its worth starting now :)

also some people might start rerolling soon due to being bored of their current class :P

Oh man I have got my Shaman "Shamwich" to level 18 now and decided to try a few games of WSG. I could not believe how great my Earth Totem was! SO many run after me and if you are a bit sneaky you run back but through the bushes and drop a totem where it isn't so visable and all of a sudden your free to drop a fire totem and range kill.

Another great 10-19 spell is removing the buff effects from mages/druids/priests. Had lots of fun despelling the same Mage over and over last night.

EDIT: Also, Earth Shock on caster = win!

Damn, anyone got any tips on how to be a good Priest to keep from wiping?

I had a little accident with that Psychic Scream thing....two nasties were beating on me, so I couldn't heal, so I thought I'd be clever and Scream. Of course they them happily ran away towards two other mobs and brought them back with them. :( Tried to leg it, so I could Res people maybe, but it wasn't happening.

I blame the Warlock who wasn't paying any attention to what his overgrown smurf was aggroing. Reckon he had it set on aggressive. Yeah... :o

If a healer dies first, it's generally because your group failed to stop the mobs from killing you. This usually means you've got a bad group. Tell them you won't use Psychic Scream as soon as they stop the mobs hitting you.
 
lol crazy stuff! did a few WSg at lvl 16, i just ran for the flag! easiest thing, lol... drop a totem and nothing can catch you :)

won both WSG's so i got 6 pretty marks.. when i hit 29 i might go back, as i have better gear now, almost all blues, and enchancement spec, so it could be interesting, esp with annoying earth bind totem and wolfie :)
