The funds come from the $20bn sale of Hilton Hotels to The Blackstone Group.

For doing a really bad job of acting. Take a look at House of Wax or Bottoms Up... it's worse than the acting in Harry Potter.

She has various fashion things going on, perfume etc that she gets pretty hefty royalties on, I think the acting is quite a minor part of how she makes money. For a dumb blonde brat she's actually managed to do OK for herself.

Apparently she's not used any of her parent's money since she turned 18.

I know that she's multitalented (urgh...) as she sings, acts, models, has a couple of her own products, but she really, really shouldn't get any roles in any more films. She got quite a bit from House of Wax IIRC.
