i am still getting jerkey ness on my rig ! , no aa or af at 1440 x900 all settings maxed on a 2 gb q6600 and 8800gtx mostly on the single player the multiplayer seems to be not nearly as bad but it still not butter smooth i have vista x64 and latest nvidia drivers ?

Although I'm rather annoyed because the " Red Dot Scope " is better than the scope you unlock after it !!

Make sure you take regular backups of your profile. I made the mistake of thinking the unlocks were tied to your cd-key online and after a format I discovered it wasn't.

Whats the "sweet spot" for Free for all?

I've found 25 odd players seems to be ok any more & its simply spawn, die, spawn, die etc

Well the CoD games are based on a highly modded Q3 engine so I'm guessing Quake 3.

yep 50 man free for all are carnage, reason im on them is my pc died last week and lost everthing but now back to 49 now cause of them servers my preferred servers are 32 man which i feel are just right.

50-player FFA servers are very much a camp-fest and usually filled with martyrs to try and clear spawn points.

I'd love to play this but I have the directx crashing error. I boot up and change to 1280 x 1024 res and it kicks me out. No Xfire installed, everything else working ok. Can't seem to find a fix for this on the net?

I'm positive the fix is to set the right aspect ratio.

I know what you mean but the ACOG scope is different - not quite as easy to use but zooms further than the Red Dot one.

TBH, I went off the scopes and towards silencers after a while. The lack of the scope is more than outweighed by not giving away your position every time you fire.

WOW got the game running like it should now , have to say its a pity you cant play the sas all the time , the missions are far better than the gun ho us ones , limited equipment , hiding sneeking wow , loved the heli mission when you got to help your team by blowing up the bad guys pure class , i have to rate this game above crysis for sheer involment in it! now you wants a mutiplay !
