The Club - Demo on PSN

Downloading now, no US store update yet though

According to last weeks Ps blog there will be no US update this week, I thought it would be worldwide but luckily it aint. Thats why there was no GH3 tunes this week on the US store as they're all on their hols.

just played it, its an ok demo for free, looks pretty good, dont like the camera. from my 1st impression i wont be buying the full game

Hmm...i didn't really like it. While the graphics are decent the gameplay is rather basic and i can see it getting rather repetative. The levels seem basic and the level layout seems bland, nothing new to offer. Don't bother wasting your bandwith

Yeah Bizarre Creations produce it.....To be fair it looks fine, just a poor idea i think and would become very repetitive.....Unless you love shooting combo kills and very little story :D

its crud.... poor even by lowly console fps standards... My own fault i downloaded it without checking.

I just had a game, and thought it was great fun.

Sure, I played through 3 times, and that was quite enough, but it was fun for a bit.

So long as this doesn't come out at full price, then I'd be tempted to get it.
I found the controls a bit cumbersome, but that could be down to the fact I've been playing quite a few FPS on the PC over the past month, and got used to the speed of the mouse again. It just seemed to take an age to get the guy to spin around!

But, good fun regardless. Nothing deep, just an out and out arcade game.
Is this due for retail release, or just PSN?

Phew, ok, just checked on the rainforest site.
I see it there for XBOX and PS3 for the full £40.
Won't be getting this either then.

Hmmm, I see there's a PC version listed too, which is cheaper, and would be easier to control, and I should imagine, have better graphics.

Speaking of which, has the XBOX360 got a demo already? Just wondering how the two compared, graphically?

I'll have another go later, see if there's an option to speed up the turning speed, if so, it'll suit me a lot better... that was a real downside to me, running up the stairs, people are shooting you, and you have to wait to turn around. Hmmm, as I said, maybe I've just got too used to playing Timeshift/Crysis/COD4/UT3/GOW on the PC recently, and have got unused to a controller.

Still, seems like a good fun game, albeit in short bursts.
It really should be cheaper though, unless the other levels will be a lot more inspired, more like UT3 (I don't mean Sci-Fi, just well laid out, interesting, and fun)

V1N.

It's a good laugh, nice environment, not sure on the aiming, but I guess that once you know what you're doing it would be a bit better.
