Has anyone seen Atonement yet? Not usually my kind of thing, but it seems a good compromise film to go and see with the wife - period romance for her, war and guns and things for me. Currently got a 100% over on rottentomatoes which can't be bad (can it?)

Very good, brilliantly acted, and you dont leave feeling like youve been robbed of 2 hours of your life. Keira is very good, as is the blokey, James something?

Watched this today, wasn't overly impressed. Wasn't really much of interest going on so I started reading the paper while my fiancee played on her DS. Secondhalf is a bit better but even in chick-flick terms it wasn't that good.

The acting by the TV presenter who interviewed Briony at the end was atrocious, sounded completely fake and contrived.
