Bohemian Rhapsody

Had to sit through this song again the other day and it reminded me of just how much I dislike it. Seems that's an unpopular opinion, though, as when I've said that to people they tell me it's the best song in the world.... ever! Anyone else agree with me that this song ain't nothing special, or am I a misguided fool?

I wouldn't say a mis guided fool, musical taste is a personal "taste" just as is a bottle of wine.

Albeit the Bohemian Rhapsody was ground breaking musically for that era of music. Its still a classic and i throughly enjoy it.

Great song, but somewhat spoiled by the use of it in cheesy clubs and other occations which have caused the song to lose its magic.

Im not a massive Queen fan, but Bohemian Rhapsody is a classic song, and Brian May is an awesome guitarist too

You had to be there.
Theres only several of us on here that were actually there when it came out and it was completely different to anything that came before it.
I was a Queen fan at the time : I'd seen them supporting Mott the Hoople in 72, seen them on their very first headlining tour promoting Sheer Heart Attack and then this awesome track came out.
It was also different because they had to make a video for it to show on TOTP.
In those days you had to re-record your song in the BBC studios and then mime to that but there was no way Queen were ever going to re-record Bo Rap in 4 hours so video history was made.

It's far from their best song, but it's still a fantastic bit of writing and performance.
